Today's Daily App is special not just because of what it does on the Android, but for what it allows users to do on their computers. BlueStacks Cloud Connect provides a cloud-based conduit between an Android device and a Windows laptop or desktop for transfer of Android apps to run on the big screen.
That's right. All those Android apps can now run full-screen or in a window on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 with lots of space for Angry Birds and lots of wrist-room to take a Pulse of world news (videos).
Called the Best Software of 2012 at CES and receiver of a Best App Ever Award for 2012, Cloud Connect works with BlueStacks' App Player, which runs apps designed for the ARM processor to run on x86-based PCs. Cloud Connect makes quick, painless and cable-free work of automatically transferring any apps to or from a PC to Android device for execution on either platform with accelerated graphics.
