TeamLogic IT, IndependenceIT Offer Nationwide Cloud Services
2:52 PM EST Mon. Oct. 01, 2012Managed services provider TeamLogic IT has selected independenceIT to deliver its services in a cloud business model through its nationwide franchises.
TeamLogic IT, of Mission Viejo, Calif., provides technology services for SMBs, with more than 50 franchises. It offers outsourced IT services related to networking, security, data and email services, as well as hardware and software support.
Seth Bostock, independenceIT's executive vice president of business development and strategy, said his company will help TeamLogic IT migrate its offerings to the cloud. "We are becoming their cloud platform essentially," he said in an interview with CRN.

Allentown, Pa.-based independenceIT has expanded its cloud services for channel partners in the last year, now serving more than 170 partners. Its customers can use its VCD dashboard to manage and provision Exchange, SharePoint, Virtual Presence Server (VPS) and its cloud management platform, Cloud Workspace.
In August, the company launched a cloud partner program to let MSPs, VARs and ISVs resell its updated product portfolio to business clients.
"Our view is we want to continue to help clients in a way that's different than the cloud providers," Bostock said. "Others want customers to sign on and do it their way. We say to cloud partners, 'It's your customer, your price. We are there to support you in this rapidly changing environment. If you have a data center, we can do it your way. If you want infrastructure-as-a-service, we can do that.'"
TeamLogic IT is owned by Franchise Services, Inc. (FSI), a management company that owns the franchise brands Sir Speedy, PIP Printing and Marketing Services, Signal Graphics and MultiCopy, the company said in a statement.
"We selected independenceIT because its comprehensive cloud workspace solution and management tools enable us to expand the value of our product offering and gain a stronger competitive edge," TeamLogic IT President Chuck Lennon said in a statement.
