A10 Networks Appoints New Sales VP For Latin America, EMEA5:25 PM EST Wed. Jan. 30, 2013
A10 Networks has appointed Andre Stewart as the company's new vice president of sales for Latin America and EMEA.
An 18-year veteran of the data communications industry, Stewart joins the San Jose, Calif.-based application networking company from Corero, a network security company, where he served as president.

Prior to Corero, Stewart spent eight years at Fortinet, where he was initially in charge of EMEA and India until his role was expanded to a worldwide level. While at Fortinet, he helped to parlay strong revenue growth into a successful IPO.

A10 Networks was founded in 2004, specializing in networking and security solutions. Its technology is based on a software-defined application platform, marketed as ACOS, which has a symmetric multicore shared-memory architecture. Its flagship product family is the AX Series application delivery controller that is intended to differentiate itself based on performance and a reduced total cost of ownership. The AX Series supports virtualization technologies such as aVCS, multitenancy, SSL intercept, SSL offload, DDoS protection and DNS application firewall capabilities suitable for public, private and hybrid cloud environments.
A10 Networks posted company record-setting levels of revenue in 2012, and it claims more than 2,500 customers in 45 countries and approximately 500 employees. It currently sees its EMEA and LATAM businesses in rapid growth mode, and it intends to double its revenues in those regions during the current year.
