Telepresence, TeleworkAt Interop this week, Cisco CEO John Chambers offerd his vision for "telepresence." CRN's Dan Neel reports: "Telepresence blends high-bandwidth IP communications into a high-resolution video- and voice-conferencing system. Such solutions will be so refined that users will be able to detect subtle nuances in the responses of other participants and follow them around a room, according to Chambers."On a more down to earth level, old fashioned telecommuting is once again on the attracting attention as a potential solution to everything from high gas prices to bird flu outbreaks.
