Should VARs Provide Customer Financing?This question came in last week from a systems integrator. Certainly distributors have made financing a part of their offerings for quite a while, but is it a worthwhile service for VARs to offer to end-user customers? "I'm looking for information or data demonstrating the effectiveness of SI's or VAR's offering financing. Is there evidence which suggest companies offering financing alternatives as part of the sales process generate more revenue, or are more profitable? I'm trying to build a case for my company to take a more "Financing" friendly view of the sales and marketing process." What do you think? Post your opinion in our comments section, below.
