Microsoft Hires Former Sun Exec As Partner GM

Microsoft has brought on
Sherle Webb-Robins as its new general manager of partner programs.
Webb-Robins had been vice president of global partner sales and marketing for Sun Microsystems.
Kevin Wueste , who had been GM at Microsoft partner programs, reporting to Allison Watson, is leaving the company, sources said.
Watson is vice president of Microsoft's worldwide partner sales and marketing group.
Microsoft is going into year three of its self-proclaimed "Next Generation Partner Program" and is still trying to sort out issues emanating from its melding of its classic partner channel and the channels it acquired along with Great Plains, Solomon, Navision, and Axapta business applications.
