Distributor Tech Data has sent out a note to solution providers, saying its AppleAdvantage Specialized Business Unit is working to make it easier for them to deploy Windows-on-Macintosh solutions.
This alert crossed the transom from a Tech Data news email:
Now through March 31, Tech Data's AppleAdvantage Specialized Business Unit is offering Apple resellers Parallels Desktop for Mac OEM 5 pre-loaded on Kingston 512MB USB drives at no additional charge. These pre-loaded USB drives enable Apple resellers to present their customers with Parallels' award-winning desktop virtualization solution for quick and easily installation. Parallel's Desktop for Mac enables users to run Windows on their Intel-powered Macs.
Last year, Frank Ohlhorst, director of CRN Labs, said Parallels' virtualization technology in Windows-on-Mac deployments was "good news" for the channel.
