Beyond Lightbulbs, Sylvania Enters Netbook Fray

You probably know them best as makers of a variety of lightbulbs, but Sylvania has recently expanded its portfolio to include a colorful new line of netbook PCs.
As an old dog learning a new trick, it's an emerging player solution providers interested in the netbook craze might want to check out.
Sylvania's new G Netbook Meso is powered by Intel's 1.6GHz Atom processor and includes an 80-GB hard drive, 1 GB of RAM and an 8.9-inch LCD. It's available with Ubuntu's Netbook Remix or Microsoft's Windows XP Home Edition operating systems. It also packs in 802.11 b/g wireless support and an integrated Webcam.
