Note Hub for iPad is a feature-rich, inexpensive app for data sharing – ranging from sketches to notes to Web pages – with just a few taps.

But beyond the simple description, if deployed in the right scenario, Note Hub can become a nice tool for workgroup collaboration, with support for Dropbox file sharing, the Posterous blogging service and light project management.

Once installed, the basic app allows for creation of type-written notes, finger-drawn sketches in black-and-white or color (sort of like Microsoft Paint), screen captures, task lists and Google Map-based geo-data. For full data-sharing support, a $4.99 upgrade from the free app is required, but for on-the-fly collaboration via the iPad, Note Hub is a rich app that merits a close look.
