The Daily App: Private for iPad

There’s a relatively new app for the Apple iPad called, simply, Private, that not only serves as an incognito browser, but a simple touch of a button will instantly transport that browser over to the Google search landing page to hide whatever you were doing.

But beyond that function is this: Private will delete all personal information and browsing history each time you click out of the app, and it will do another sweep, once more, when it’s clicked on the next time. The result is browsing privacy that many will find comforting, or even essential if using Web services, when using the iPad on the go. While many other iOS-supporting browsers provide incognito functions, we like the simplicity and snappiness of Private and think you might want to give it a try for browsing on your iPad or iPad 2.
