The Daily App: Due for iPad
When Apple launched its Reminders app for free with iOS 5, for many it may have rendered other task-based apps unnecessary. However, there are still a number of robust reminder apps that provide more functionality and are worth considering if you want to boost productivity or stay better organized.
One such app is named, simply, Due - and it not only keeps track of your reminders and open tasks, but it has also built in a sharing function which can help you collaborate or even delegate tasks to others.
And in keeping with its name, Due will tell you when everything is due, combining a countdown timer with each task to give you a quick glance at how soon a particular deadline may be crashing down on you.
Unlike Apple's reminders, Due does not automatically synchronize with other PCs, Macs or devices. (You can, though, synch information with a Dropbox account.) However, Due has much more capability of keeping you on track if your day is more deadline-driven than others.

Due is not free. It's a $4.99 download from the Apple iTunes App Store, and one purchase will let you run a version of the app on either an iPad or iPhone. For those always on the lookout for increased productivity on mobile devices, Due is worthy of consideration.
