The Daily App: Timetable for iPad

Calendars can be one of those quirky, hard-to-get-comfortable-with aspects of our lives that can sometimes take years for us to get right.

So convincing people to change the way they view and adjust their calendars and schedules can sometimes be more difficult than changing time itself. We know this because there are still legions of people who refuse to give up their leather-bound agendas.

Enter TimeTable for iPad, a $2.99 download from the Apple iTunes App Store by developer KiWi Objects. This app installs onto your iPad and iPhone, and aims to extend the functionality you get from the basic calendar provided by Apple.

TimeTable provides some nice features that the basic iPad calendar does not. For instance, an “Activities” function allows you to create a list of running items that you want to schedule – like workout classes, budget meetings, auto-tuneups or anything else. Additionally, TimeTable easily lets you email a PDF version of one of your TimeTables or print a version out.

This is a nice app, and has potential to be very sticky if you begin using it to rearrange your schedule, ongoing activities or events, or share your daily, weekly or monthly calendar with others in hard-copy format.
