The Daily App: ClipSwap for iPad

In the never-ending quest for more efficiency and better productivity on mobile devices, developers have been stepping to the fore to provide apps that leverage the unique hardware functions of iPhones, iPads and Android devices.

Some developers do a great job of also extending a device's out-of-the-box software functionality, and ClipSwap for iPad, a free download from the Apple iTunes App Store, makes the simple cut and paste feature on the Apple device a lot more powerful and useful to power users.

ClipSwap, developed by Lost Minds, provides a sort of "paste board" that lets you save up to four copy and pasted items at any one time – including photos, images, links or simple text. Particularly for tasks like research, the ability to hold and manage multiple pasted items at any one time can provide a nifty time saver.

ClipSwap also cuts down on effort. When the app is open, you don't need to copy and paste, you just need to outline what you want and hit the "copy" button, and ClipSwap automatically pastes it on your board for you. Voila.
