Developed by San Diego-based Red Funnel Consulting, FatStax is geared directly at supporting the needs of field sales teams of large enterprises and small businesses.
FatStax comes preloaded with a sample database, although only those subscribing to the FatStax service can download personal product information into the app. It works by converting product information from its native format into the iPad-compatible FatStax database.
Users can build a product list for buyers by simply tapping the "add to cart" button. This process combines the product information and will help build a shopping list within minutes. The FatStax search feature instantly and intuitively allows products to be searched by name, sku or the full text. It also can work and search for products offline and send information about multiple products in a single email. FatStax also works with a secure FatStax-compatible cloud database called CloudStax. FatStax also provides Salesforce.com CRM integration, helping to improve sales activity information and eliminating the double-entry administrative task.
The Basic and Professional app both start at $25.00/user/month. The Basic app includes 50 users, one managed catalog, up to 2,500 line items and 250 MB of storage of file-based resources. The Professional app includes 100 users, three managed catalogs, up to 15,000 line items and 750 MB of storage. And, the Enterprise app starts at $15/user/month and includes 300 users, unlimited catalogs, unlimited line items and 1 GB of storage.
