For companies large and small, invoices are a critical part of doing business. But, keeping them up to date can seem draconian. Offering a solution is Draconis Software, a Boston-based development consultancy that builds apps for Android and iOS. Its Invotrak for iOS and Mac OS X is an invoice tracking app that can manage billing records and send invoice notifications to help keep companies on top of their financial transactions through an iPhone or iPad.
To start using Invotrak, an online account must first be established through the Invotrak website. There are four types of accounts from which to choose: the free, basic, premium and ultimate package. They range from free to $45.00/month and differ in terms of how many invoices, clients, employees, templates and projects can be issued or used per month.
Invotrak can help businesses determine which money is owed and when it’s due and process payments online. It also can track billable time for employees, keep track of project progress and budgets, notify clients of new invoices and create professional-looking PDF files from five built-in templates. For companies using Basecamp, an online project management tool, to-do items can be imported directly into time-sheet entries. Everything done on Invotrak is SSL encrypted with firewall protection.
