The Daily App: ColorStrokes For iOS, Mac OS X

When a stroke of genius hits a marketing professional unexpectedly, today’s Daily App could be just the tool to help execute that idea. ColorStrokes for iOS provides an instant outlet for capturing inspiration by snapping a picture and manipulating the colors to highlight the attention-grabbing qualities.

ColorStrokes is a $0.99 iOS app, coming soon to Mac for $2.99, and it was created by photography app developer MacPhun for the purpose of manipulating photos in various ways, whether it be to recolor images, change colors to b&w or create color splash photos with a new twist. Editing photos is simple with the iPhoto integration, making it effortless to import pictures from the picture library.

The toolbox provides a wide selection of tools for editing images, which includes adjustable parameters of the brush, a variety of monochrome layers and customizable brightness, contrast, saturation, hues and vignettes. New photos can be instantly exported to Photoshop or Aperture and can also be shared through Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and Tumblr, as well as printed or sent via email.
