If you’re anything like us here at the CRN Test Center, you probably value speed, mobility and convenience. That’s precisely what you get with the Kensington Pro Fit Mid-Size Wireless Mouse.
Created by Kensington, a company that focuses on accessories and peripherals for the computer after-market, the Pro Fit wireless mouse can accompany any computer, is Windows 8-compatible, and is a great travel companion because of its light weight and clutter-free design. The device comes with a discrete nano USB receiver that, once plugged in, sticks out of the USB port a couple of centimeters, just enough so that it can be pinched and easily removed. The mouse is battery operated and takes two AAA batteries, which are included in the package. The battery has a life expectancy of up to 12 months.
Connecting the device to a computer is effortless and takes less than a minute. Simply insert the batteries, plug in the nano USB connector and start clicking away. Provided that the user is not left-handed, the Pro Fit’s ergonomic right-handed design has a comfortable fit and rests discretely under the hand. There is also a smooth rubber grip for the thumb-pad area and a convenient middle finger scroll wheel with middle button and pointer speed quick select. The optical sensor is high-definition 1750 DPI, providing lightning-fast responsive control.
The Kensington Pro Fit Mid-Size Wireless Mouse has a retail value of $24.99 and can be purchased in either emerald green, graphite gray, ruby red or sapphire blue.
