Microsoft Re-Reverses Course On Anti-Discrimination Bill

In an e-mail to employees on Friday, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer reversed course and pledged the company will support an anti-discrimination bill in Washington state next time around.

Citing the company's continued support for diversity and complimenting employees for voicing their opinions, Ballmer wrote: "After looking at the question from all sides, I've concluded that diversity in the workplace is such an important issue for our business that it should be included in our legislative agenda."

Folks now wonder whether the local minister who claimed to have pressured the company into de-supporting the bill in the first place will follow through on threats of a Microsoft boycott.
