Oracle Lauds Partners

The Titan awards were co-presented by channel chief Rauline Ochs and various and sundry VPs along with Jeff Henley. Introducing Henley, Ochs stumbled on his title which is, by the way, Chairman. That elicited laughter among partners and insiders accustomed to scouring every pronouncement for possible management changes. "I have no news for you, I promise," Ochs joked to the crowd.

In 2004, Henley, the long time CFO, took on the Chairman role from then-triple threat Larry Ellison (CEO, Chairman, President)

But enough, on with the awards: There were 120 nominees this year up nearly 80 percent over last year, according to Ochs. The Application Server Solution of the year honoree was SunGard SCT.

Collaboration and Integration Solution of the year went to Enterprise Business Solutions.
