The UPS Store Canada, a retail packing, shipping and business-services chain

The UPS Store wanted to reach customers more effectively with targeted and branded messaging by implementing digital-media solutions in its stores, at the point-of-purchase.

As a retail environment, The UPS Store needed a low-maintenance digital-signage solution to accommodate its long operating hours, frequent content changes and varied network architectures.

The UPS Store turned to CCi to deploy Real Digital Media's Neocast digital- signage offering, which includes media players and hosted server software to control digital elements. CCi signed on to provide full integration and rollout services, from project management and hardware sourcing to installation and ongoing support. With the signage solution, The UPS Store aims to boost product sales and better serve customers.

Key to Success
"We turned to digital signage as a way to educate our customer base on our total offerings, beyond the one thing they may know us for, without having to spend a lot of money. We demonstrated the product to our Franchisee Advisory Council, after discussing the benefits and viewing the actual product, and they unanimously endorsed proceeding with installation."
--Malcolm Houser, executive vice president and COO of The UPS Store Canada
