An earlier Ethernet adapter from Farallon Communications, Alameda, CA that allowed up to seven EtherWave-equipped PCs to connect to one port on the hub. Two jacks on the adapter allowed the PCs to be daisy chained together. EtherWave was also the brand name for other Ethernet products from the company, which was acquired by Proxim Inc. in 2000 (www.proxim.com).
