(1) In programming, the positioning of a loop within a loop. The number of loops that can be nested may be limited by the programming language. See loop.
(2) In a folder hierarchy, it refers to storing a folder inside another folder. You can nest folders inside of folders ad infinitum, but it becomes more unwieldy to retrieve them. See Win Folder organization.
