Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator 6.0 Cisco Systems is rolling out a broad swath of new products and updates under the 6.0 banner, including Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator, which allows users to access enterprise communications applications on mobile phones and smart phones. It provides users with one-number access and ties in with corporate directories, enabling mobile users to see and share presence status across the company. Based on technology Cisco picked up when it acquired Orative last year, the software will be compatible with a variety of mobile platforms, including BlackBerry, Microsoft Windows Mobile, Symbian OS and BREW.
