Hewlett-Packard capped off its 2010 Americas Partner Conference (APC) this week with the announcement of the HP Partner in Excellence Awards for top solution providers who work closely with the computing giant.
"The winners of these awards represent the best our partners have to offer in each business unit and region, whether that's through sales leadership and marketplace differentiation, or global citizenship and giving back to the community," said Stephen DiFranco, vice president and general manager of Palo Alto, Calif.-based HP's Solution Partners Organization - Americas.
"We thank all our partners for their contributions and congratulate our award winners for their ongoing leadership."
Some of HP's most successful channel partners were feted in 19 different categories during an award show Wednesday in Las Vegas that was followed by an evening of entertainment to wind up APC 2010.
"It's truly amazing to be recognized for something that you're supposed to be doing everyday, which is give back to the communities you live in and support those people that make those communities home," said Majdi Daher, CEO of Denali Advanced Integration, a Redmond, Wash.-based HP partner that was named winner of the Power of Technology in Community Innovation award.
