The daily app, SpringCM

Today's daily app gives SpringCM users something they've doubtless been calling for since the enterprise content management system first hit the cloud in 2006. This week SpringCM released SpringCM Mobile, a set of clients for iPhone and iPad and a pre-release version for Android devices that extends the file sharing and collaboration tool to smartphones and tablets.

According to the company, SpringCM Mobile permits sharing of and collaboration on Word, Excel and other native file types, as well as links and PDFs; full approval capabilities; and status updates including that of file-attribute metadata for organizing content and driving process. The tool also provides full text search, easy navigation and access to all prior file versions for reference or comparison.

SpringCM Mobile for iOS is available now at the Apple AppStore. Android users are invited to join the Android beta program using a short registration form. All SpringCM Mobile clients are free for current users of SpringCM Team, Business, Enterprise and VIP for Salesforce editions.
