The Daily App, WiFi TouchPad

Looking for a way to add wireless control to a laptop for presentations or other general remote use? From iOS utility-maker mbPowertools comes WiFi TouchPad HD for iOS, a free or $0.99 tool that turns any device running iOS into a remote control for Mac and Windows machines.

WiFI Touchpad uses an existing wireless Ethernet network to turn an iPad or iPhone into a simulated keyboard and mouse for any machine on the same subnet running Windows XP/Vista/7 or Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.

Once connected, the iPhone/iPad works like a touch pad, with support for multitouch gestures, two-finger right clicking and scrolling, tap to click, item drag and drop, and window resizing. WiFi TouchPad HD also includes a magnifying glass function and volume control, and it has a full-featured keyboard with multilanguage text support. Using the keyboard, text can be composed before being sent to the host system. The tool is free for iPad and costs $0.99 for the iPhone.
