The Daily App, MobileDay

Travel and conference calls are two concepts that usually go hand in hand, but sometimes they can handcuff the on-the-go professional to his or her mobile device no matter where they are. MobileDay for Android and iOS is a voice conferencing app that eliminates having to dial in, remember codes and write down conference details.

MobileDay is a free app by the Colorado-based like-named productivity developer that provides quick, one-tap access to conference calls through the integration of the devices calendar. Those who regularly use the calendar on their mobile device will enjoy MobileDays' ability to eliminate the struggle of switching between dialing and searching through the calendar. Once registered with an online account and after the app has scanned the devices calendar, it will automatically import upcoming call appointments and information. The call information can also be entered manually. A pop-up reminder will appear whenever it’s time for the conference call, and after that, dialing into the call is only one tap away.

MobileDay provides the ability to join any voice conference call or meeting as a host or guest and offers the ability to view the calendar of events with one quick glance. It also integrates with email, text messaging and address book apps, plus the maps feature can help find meeting locations. MobileDay also has a notify feature that makes sending SMS or email messages to meeting attendees a breeze.
