The Daily App, Where2Boss

A popular question to hear when entering a taxi might be "Where to, boss?" Today's Daily App lets the rider turn that question around. Where2Boss for iOS is an interactive free navigation app that uses GPS to provide ETAs based on real-time traffic information, viewing and comparing the road being taken by the taxi driver with what it calculates as the best possible route.

From mobile-app solution developer MightyMack, Where2Boss is one of its many mobile apps that aims to help professionals get through their day a little more easily. Where2Boss works like most other GPS apps -- simply enter a destination and an ETA and map of the suggested route will pop up. The ETA is updated every minute, and it takes into account the various road conditions ahead of the current position.

During the taxi ride, passing the time can be made possible by reading reviews of the driver and adding your own. This feature can also be used towards the apps awards feature, where points and badges are earned by using the app, passing landmarks and beating the original ETA. This interactive feature also allows friends using Where2Boss to see and compete against each other for the top spot on the leaderboard.
