The Daily App, Kensington KeyFolio Executive with Bluetooth

For those looking for a way to not only protect their iPad but also carry and organize documents in one convenient location, then look no further than the Kensington KeyFolio Executive with Bluetooth keyboard and mobile organizer.

The iPad slides into a thin compartment in the middle of the folio. It lays flat so it can be easily switched back and forth, providing access to both the keyboard as well as the organizer side. The organizer has five slots that can hold various cards as well as two folder flaps for storing papers or notebooks 7 inches by 9.5 inches or smaller. There’s also a penholder in the middle of the folio. The compartment that the iPad slides into has a thin layer of Velcro on the bottom that sticks to the fabric above the keyboard, so it can be placed in various angles. The black leather case is about an inch and a half thick and uses a single zipper head to securely open and close the folio.

The keyboard connects to the iPad with a one-time-click toggle button; it also has an on/off toggle switch on the side. There are four LED lights that indicate whether or not the caps lock is on, the Bluetooth is connected, the device is charging and the power is connected.

This folio does not support Apple’s smart locking capability, which automatically shuts off the iPad when closed. The keyboard can also be removed if so desired. The working time of the keyboard is 120 hours, and it has a standby time of 200 days. The retail price is $99.99.
