The Daily App, EventSCan

Today’s Daily App lets you bypass the routine of swapping business cards and upgrade to the 21st century. EventSCan for Android and iOS synchronizes contacts, in real time, directly to your CRM.

Developed by technology management consulting company SoftClouds, eventSCan was created with the understanding that CRM is more of a strategy for doing business rather than a software application, and this app marries the two.

Once past the secure setup, the event currently in progress will appear on the home screen; this is where contact information can be gathered either by pressing the "Scan," "Type Barcode" or "Bump" button. After swapping information, the personal data is organized under the "Leads" tab. This tab sets eventSCan apart because it goes beyond simply storing contact information; it provides the ability to "Follow Up" and "Survey" contacts.

The Follow Up feature is an outlet that gives users the option to email literature, schedule a demo, schedule a sales call, send a quote and send free trial information. The Survey tab includes a rating system for "Product Interest," "Purchasing Authority," "Purchase Timeline" and "Mode of Contact." EventSCan is free and makes networking during trade shows, conferences and corporate events a productive and easy endeavor. And, as long as there is a Wi-Fi connection, the apps can be found on the eventSCan website for download.
