Graybar Expands Relationship With Corning
Graybar, a St. Louis-based distributor of equipment and materials for the construction, telecommunications, networking, industrial, commercial and utilities industries, is now distributing Corning Cable Systems' LANscape complete fiber-optic cabling solution for private networks. The agreement makes Graybar the leading distributor of those products for Corning Cable Systems, and gives customers a complete choice of cables, connectivity and hardware options for on-site optical networks. The agreement is an expansion of a contract Corning has with Graybar, which already distributes the customer's connectors and hardware.

Tech Data, Logilent Make Cisco Live
Tech Data, Clearwater, Fla., has made Cisco certification courses available online through an agreement with Logilent Learning Systems, a Lafayette, Calif.-based e-learning service provider. Resellers can use Logilent's hands-on tools to combine instructor-led training with remote lab solutions. Logilent LiveLabs helps resellers gain experience on real networking devices, giving each participant anytime-access via a user interface, lab guides, lab notes and 24/7 technical mentoring. Logilent IT Courses provides users with customized lesson plans, assessment tests and a variety of lesson plans.

Ingram Offers Great Plains Software To SMBs
Santa Ana, Calif.-based Ingram Micro has announced it will distribute Microsoft Great Plains' Small Business Manager 6.2 integrated software application to the IT channel. Solution providers will be given a complete financial software suite for small to midsize business, as well as training, technical support, lead-generation programs and financing options.

GE Access Gives Customers Direct Account Access
Boulder, Colo.-based GE Access, a value-added technical distributor, has launched a new application called Direct Account Access (DAA), which allows customers to view their financial services account data 24/7 in a secure Web environment. Using the DAA application, customers can view and print invoices, review their account histories, and view receipt applications and transaction activities. Prior to DAA, customers had to request such information from a GE Access Financial Service team member, who in turn ran a report, and then faxed the information to the customer.
