Toshiba launched a new line of Satellite Pro notebook computers for the business market using both Intel Core 2 Duo and AMD dual core processors. The line starts with a 13.3 inch model and expands to include 14.1-inch, 15.4 inch and 17-inch models that can be sold in nine standard configurations.
"It's a great basic essential platform for those businesses that know they need a notebook for a competitive advantage," said Craig Marking, senior product marketing manager for Toshiba, Irvine, Calif.
Coming in four sizes, Toshiba now has business notebooks for 97 percent of the market, Marking said.
