Aiming to woo resellers, plasma display distributor Electrograph Systems is integrating Hitachi's StarBoard product and Hitachi Professional Series projectors.

Electrograph is the exclusive distributor of Hitachi's StarBoard whiteboard products that provide interactive solutions for meetings, training and conferencing in the business and education markets. The product line includes plasma displays, devices such as pen-driven displays, portable freedom tablets and software.

The Hauppauge, N.Y.-based company also distributes Hitachi's Professional Series 3LCD projectors, which include the CP-WX11000, CP-X10000 and CP-SX12000.

The companies said that the combination of the projectors and StarBoard products will offer resellers higher margins.

"These projectors are available through limited distribution and require authorization to sell," said Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph, in a statement. "Hitachi and Electrograph are allowing resellers to hold their margins and make a profit without the concern of Internet or other retail sales competition."
