Infax is currently at work on an implementation for Amtrak -- another 'wayfinding' environment without a lot of wiggle room for errors. Davis said he sees tremendous growth in exterior LCD technologies -- on outdoor train platforms, say, that are both bright enough and tall enough and also weather-resistant.
"Pricing for exterior LCDs has dropped to where it's becoming more cost- effective," he said.
