	Introduction • Casting A Big Shadow On The Industry In our annual exercise of identifying key innovators, CRN editors started with an assessment of the key products and technologies impacting the industry. That was the easy part.
	Engineers • Jim Kahle Kahle led development of the first dual-core processor at IBM. • Peter Stanforth Stanforth's team at MeshNetworks added practical ingredients to a largely academic concept. • Dave Chappell Chappell helped write the book on the Enterprise Service Bus. • Jonathan Rosenberg The co-author of SIP helped give voice-over-IP functionality and interoperability. • VK Jones Jones boosted the range of wireless networks by getting antennas to work together with the MIMO topology. • Glen Hopkins At Hewlett-Packard, Hopkins led groundbreaking advancements in print head technology. • Jim Green Throughout his career, Green made key contributions to the advancement of service-oriented achitectures. • Jim Hughes Hughes' utilitarian blade-server backplane designs helped put IBM's BladeCenter on top of the market. • Chris Diorio This RFID pioneer played a key role in setting the standard that is fueling adoption of the technology. • Jan Van Riel The marriage of Van Riel's software with EMC's arrays got the industry thinking about content-addressable storage.
