In 1994, Cutler and a classmate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology launched net.Genesis as one of the first pure Internet companies selling business intelligence solutions.
Moving at the light speed of the Internet, the company has grown by phenomenal proportions. Its net.Analysis tool, which tracks the movement of every user who enters a Web site, is now in use on such sites as AT&T Corp., Bell Atlantic Corp., Fidelity, Fleet, Lucent Technologies Inc., National Geographic and Xerox Corp. And the company has forged strategic partnerships with IBM Corp., Netscape Communications Inc., Sun Microsystems Inc., Informix Corp., VeriSign and ABC Interactive.
