As customers get more comfortable with the ASP model, their demands go beyond simple application rentals.

More and more, customers expect ASPs to provide integration and consulting services as well.

While gearing up to meet that demand, some ASPs are looking to solution providers to fill customer needs.

Applicast today launched a partner program for integration and consulting firms that will implement Applicast offerings from vendors such as SAP, Siebel Systems and Agile Software.

By joining the alliance, each partner will be certified on the ASP's Fast-Fit implementation methodology and Fast Pack templated solutions.

Members of the partner program include RWD Technologies, Idea Integration, Bay Street Solutions, Endymion Systems and Sierra Atlantic.

To become an Applicast partner, contact Ann White, director of alliances, at awhite@applicast.com.

NetLedger Teams With Yahoo

NetLedger Monday inked a deal with Yahoo that will enable retailers that participate in Yahoo Store to have transaction data automatically transferred into their NetLedger accounts.

The NetLedger service is customized and co-branded for Yahoo and is available to merchants through their Yahoo Store managers.

Yahoo Store is a commerce service for businesses to create, publish and manage online stores starting at $100 per month. Over 11,300 merchants use the service.
