Online small-business marketplace Onvia.com signed a one-year alliance with Freeinternet.com to enable Freeinternet.com users to have direct access to Onvia's product and service marketplace. The agreement calls for Onvia to syndicate all areas of its sites on Freeinternet.com's small-business channel.

CrossTier.com and Clarus entered into a strategic partnership agreement under which CrossTier.com will dedicate 50 consultants to implement Clarus Commerce solutions for electronic procurement and marketplaces. In return, Clarus will invest $1.5 million in CrossTier.com.

CyberSource signed a definitive agreement to acquire Paylinx. The acquisition will allow CyberSource to provide an enterprisewide payment software solution that integrates with CyberSource's e-commerce transaction services suite to businesses selling through multiple channels. The deal is worth 8.4 million shares of CyberSource common stock.
