This year's event takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and every new member,Donna Dubinsky, Jeff Hawkins, Ed Colligan, Charles Geschke, Rick Inatome, Joe Inatome, Bill Joy, Philippe Kahn, Drew Major, Ray Ozzie, Steve Raymund and Stan Shih, will be in attendance to accept their award and reminisce a bit with the more than 1,000 event attendees. The 12 new inductees bring the current Industry Hall of Fame roster to 37, and we still have barely scratched the surface in recognizing the industry's most brilliant minds.

Also this year, past Hall of Fame inductees will be part of the ceremony to hand out the honors. From 1997, Edward Raymund and Jeff McKeever will assist in the awards presentation ceremony. From last year, Dan Bricklin, Ross Cooley and John Warnock will participate in the event. With the combination of past years' members with new Hall of Fame blood, this year's event promises to be the most exciting of them all. The event also will include the comedy of Ray Romano and a Virtual Hall of Fame demo by CRN Editor in Chief Robert Faletra and Karen Mathews, president of the Computer Museum History Center.
