Toshiba America Business Solutions signed up with ASP Qwest Cyber.Solutions Monday to have its Oracle e-business applications hosted by the ASP.

The multi-million-dollar, multiyear contract calls for Cyber.Solutions to support the Oracle 11i e-business suite used by 2,000 Toshiba end users.

The hosting deal is part of an investment Toshiba is making in new IT systems that combine the Internet with an integrated ERP application environment, said the company.

The hosted solution will allow customers, suppliers and staff to share information. The suite hosted by Cyber.Solutions includes human resources, financials, order management, supply chain management, customer relationship management, purchasing, manufacturing and logistics modules.

Toshiba joins a growing list of enterprise customers now outsourcing to Cyber.Solutions. Others include Daimler Chrysler and Mitsubishi.
