The 21-inch display literally stands above the rest, with an adjustable 82mm base. The unit sports a thin black bezel with a noble design. It features both analog and digital inputs, making it easy to connect to the latest digital-dual graphics adapters, as well as legacy VGA-only cards.
CRN Test Center Engineers found the unit to display the sharpest, most readable text of any display looked at recently. The LCD displayed white and black scales to near perfection.
The CG21 displays sharper text than most LCDs, and its image quality is so lucid that it can be used in any scenario. The display can easily provide artists or others in graphics-centric industries with a true-color display, or can fit as the centerpiece of an entire digital entertainment center.
The LCD offers a 40-degree tilt, a 70-degree swivel and has a native resolution of 1,600 x 1,200. It is ergonomically sound and provided engineers with a multitude of different viewing angles.
The unit ships with Eizo's ColorNavigator Version 2 Calibration Software, which provides accuracy over color temperature, gamma and measurement of the monitor's brightness. The software also color coordinates the display.
Another nice feature is that the monitor panel can be removed from its stand and be wall-mounted.
