LifeSize Express
Videoconferencing start-up LifeSize Communications rolled out three new additions to its high-definition line. With the launch of LifeSize Express, LifeSize Team MP and LifeSize Conference, the vendor aims to offer affordable HD video. LifeSize Express, shown here, is an HD point-to-point videoconferencing system that is priced under $6,000, including a camera, video codec and microphone. All of the new systems offer 1280 x 720 HD video resolution at 30 frames per second. LifeSize Express supports bandwidth of up to 1.5 Mbps.
