SonicWall NSA E-Series
SonicWall showed off its recently introduced NSA (Network Security Appliance) E-Series multi-core processor unified threat management (UTM) appliances, which deliver file and content-based threat prevention at Gigabit speed. The appliances combine real-time deep packet inspection firewall capabilities with intrusion prevention and protection, anti-virus, anti-spyware and content filtering. The NSA E7500 is targeted at central enterprise sites with distributed networks. The NSA E6500 is meant to serve as a central UTM appliance for midmarket firms, while the NSA E5500 is designed for local branch offices, the company said.
