Business intelligence software maker MicroStrategy formed an alliance with Conversion Services International under which the IT services firm will resell MicroStrategy applications and offer consultants on the BI platform.
The move is designed to help MicroStrategy target companies that want to deploy "enterprisewide" business intelligence initiatives with large numbers of users, MicroStrategy said.
Conversion Services provides services related to management consulting, data warehousing, business consulting and e-Business. Its customers include prominent names in the pharmaceutical and financial services industries.
Last week, MicroStrategy credited acceptance of its Report Services enterprise reporting tool for a 38 percent year-over-year sales increase in its fiscal first quarter.
