AMD Live! Media Center PCs Rolled Out

AMD has announced that Live! media center PCs are available with an enhanced entertainment suite.

AMD announced availability of the computers this week. They are powered by ADM Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processors. The entertainment suite is bundled with three new software applications, designed to work with as many consumer electronic devices as possible.

The suite now includes AMD Live! Communicator, for video and voice communications over the Internet; AMD Live! Games, powered by WildTangent; and AMD Live! Kid Rocket Web Browser, which allows children to play online games and surf the Web in a controlled environment. The communicator is powered by SightSpeed. The game application is equipped with the WildCoins payment system.

Streamload powers automatic file backup for online accounts and synchronizes networked PCs and devices for AMD Live! Media Vault, allowing consumers to store and access digital files, including images and video from their desktops and notebooks, without manual uploads.
