Konica Minolta Acquires Two Solution Providers

Konica Minolta's Ramsey, N.Y.-based unit said Monday it acquired Nevada Business Systems, a Las Vegas-based Konica Minolta dealer with 20 employees, and Wichita, Kan.-based Business Systems and its affiliate BTW Services, which have a combined 43 employees. Financial details of the acquisitions weren't disclosed.

Business Systems and BTW already had been transitioning their business from being a Canon solution provider to selling Konica Minolta solutions, according to Tokyo-based Konica Minolta.

"We are continually seeking opportunities to increase our market share across all regions," Jun Haraguchi, president and CEO of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., said in a statement.
