Ingram Micro's Bay Leaves For Software Company

Bay plans to join Punch Software, a home design software developer based in Kansas City, Mo., as its COO, according to Ingram Micro. He will remain with the Santa Ana, Calif.-based distributor until Feb. 6. Ingram Micro is now seeking bay&'s replacement, according to the company.

“Paul has led a successful career at Ingram Micro. Most recently, he led the implementation of our many innovative vendor management strategies and programs that have allowed us to secure tighter relationships with our top vendor partners,” said Keith Bradley, president of Ingram Micro, North America, in a statement. “Ultimately, these programs, combined with our sales and marketing engagements, have directly led to increased revenue and marketing funding increases for Ingram Micro."

Bay was promoted to lead Ingram Micro&'s vendor management team in February. He joined Ingram Micro in 1995 in account management and worked his way up the sales organization, according to the company.

“Paul was responsible for key strategic customer relationships and identifying business development opportunities within our retail, Internet and commercial accounts,” Bradley said.
