Update financial and billing systems to keep up with growth and the increasingly complex reporting and tracking requirements at the facility.
Challenge
With Cerner as its primary hospital-information system, Winona needed a financial accounting system to integrate with its Cerner applications. Also, it wanted to automate its HR and payroll processes.
Solution
EPartners implemented Microsoft Business Solutions--Great Plains Professional, SQL Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, .Net, BizTalk Server, Office Professional 2003 and FRX Professional--for Winona's core accounting and financial functions, HR and payroll. The VAR also integrated those apps with Winona's Cerner Millennium solutions for materials management and patient accounting.
