Shares of Primix Solutions climbed 26 percent Wednesday after the Watertown, Mass., company unveiled partnerships with Aether Systems and Information Architects.
The alliance with Aether Systems will expand Primix's e-business consulting services into wireless and mobile solutions.
By partnering with Information Architects, Primix adds realtime data exchange and simultaneous access to multiple data sources from any location.
In early afternoon trading, Primix was up 69 cents to $3.38; Information Architects and Aether Systems advanced 3 percent. Information Architects was up 16 cents to $6.19, and Aether Systems was up $4.50 to $144.
Meanwhile, the market was mixed. The Nasdaq dropped 67 points to 4,976, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 105 points to 11,366.
