As anyone who's ever tried to do an 'advanced search' on the Web knows, finding pertinent information can be as tough as finding gold in Newark. But our colleagues at Winmag.com hope to help growing companies search the Web with the result of months of hard labor: The 101 Best Business Sites For 2001.
Winmag staffers combed through more than 400 Web sites before winnowing them down to 101 useful URLs. They then divided the locations into 14 categories and 42 sub-categories including marketing, office supplies and collaboration tools. In addition, Winmag editors then added icons representing areas such as money-saving tips or time-saving.
